Juan Watched By Monaco - Ipswich Town News
Monaco sporting director Jean-Luc Ettori was at Portman Road on Saturday to catch on-loan midfielder Jimmy Juan in action for the Blues against Millwall. Juan made his return to the Town line-up after a recent spell on the sidelines with a groin injury.
The Blues are keen to sign the 22-year-old permanently in the summer but reports in France claim that Ettori has not ruled out Juan, who has a year left on his current contract, returning to the principality.
Last Thursday boss Joe Royle said that talks with Monaco are in their early stages and that Juan is keen to remain with Town: "We're still trying, we're still talking. They haven't said yes and they haven't said no, and you honestly know as much as me now.
"He wants to stay here, he's very happy here and his progress has been one of the big plusses of the season, we're delighted with Jimmy."
