Reserves Face Chelsea - Ipswich Town News
Jay McEveley continues his comeback after his medial knee ligament injury this evening when the reserves take on Chelsea at Portman Road (KO 7pm). Weekend first team debutants Chris Casement and Vemund Brekke Skard will also be in action.
Released pair Scott Mitchell and Cathal Lordan will be looking to impress any watching scouts, while central defender Lawrie Wilson, currently on trial with the Blues from Charlton, is on the bench.
Town promise to be very pacy when going forward with Jaime Peters, Dean McDonald, Danny Haynes and Billy Clarke all in the starting line-up.
Chelsea have named a young side including none of their more familiar names.
