Pair Doubts for Hull - Ipswich Town News

Scott Barron and Owen Garvan have emerged as doubts for Saturday's game with Hull City at Portman Road. Barron has a hamstring injury, while Garvan has a slight knee problem.

Physio Dave Williams told the club site: "Scott has a tight hamstring and did well to play 70 minutes against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

"He has had a scan but there is no tear. The problem goes back to an old injury he had when he was about 15 and there is some scar tissue from that which is causing the hamstring to tighten.

"We will see how he goes this week, but we are reasonably hopeful he will be OK for the weekend.

"Owen should be clear by Saturday as well. He has a sore knee. It's painful for him right at the front of the joint and he's sitting out training for now, but hopefully given rest he will be available for Hull."

Barron missing out could lead to Chris Casement making his first start for the senior side. The Blues are already without the suspended Richard Naylor which is likely to see Fabian Wilnis move to centre-half. Sito would probably come in at left-back if Barron fails to make it with Casement, who made his debut against Palace on Saturday, coming in at right-back.

Midfielder Jimmy Juan is likely to miss out again due to his groin injury, while Ian Westlake could return after a dead leg.
