Town continue to head the Premiership Fair Play League from Manchester United, Newcastle and surprisingly Arsenal. The Fair Play League may be another method of Town entering Europe with the winners being invited to take part in the Intertoto Cup.
Of Town's excellent behaviour so far Philip French, a spokesman for the Premier League said: "Ipswich Town deserve great credit for the way the team has conducted themselves in the Premiership which has seen them top the FA Carling Premiership Fair Play League at the halfway stage of the season."
Blue Peter were present at Town's game against Leicester at the weekend with presenter Simon Thomas attempting to learn something about commentating from Five Live's Alan Green.
A TWTD observer apparently wandered past the Blue Peter office yesterday while they were going through their lines and all that could be heard from Thomas was a series of moans in an Ulster accent claiming that the Premiership isn't very good because small clubs are doing quite well.

Monday 22nd January sees the Town Youth side meet Crystal Palace in the AXA FA Youth Cup at Portman Road. The game kicks off at 7pm with supporters using the Cobbold Stand entrance.
Seats cost £5 adults and £3 for concessions. Season ticket holders will not be allowed in free like they are for reserve fixtures. If Town beat Palace then we will meet Tranmere Rovers, Swansea City or Sheffield United in the next round.
Town have been given an extra 350 tickets for the Worthington Cup second leg with Birmingham. These are on general sale for £17 or £9 concessions.
Town have sold their allocation for Saturday's game with Chelsea. Town have been given 3,000 tickets for the match at Villa Park on Wednesday 31st January. Tickets are on sale from Monday 15th January to Portman Plus Gold holders. From Wednesday 17th January to Portman Plus holders, Blues Crew members (with qualifying adult) and season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets. Any left will go on general sale from Monday 22nd January. Tickets cost £20 adults and £10 concessions.
The ballot for Everton tickets has been postponed as the game may have to be moved should Town beat Birmingham and make the final of the Worthington Cup on February 25th. Tickets from the Bradford ballot should be with successful applicants by Monday 22nd January.
