Jay Considering Future - Ipswich Town News
Loanee defender Jay McEveley says he doesn't know where he'll be playing his club football next season. The central defender or left-back, who recently committed his international career to Scotland, could be back with Blackburn but hasn't ruled out permanently signing for the Blues.
McEveley said: "My contract with Blackburn runs out in the summer of 2007, but we will have to wait and see what happens.
"If it doesn't work out at Blackburn I will certainly consider signing full-time for Ipswich. My plan is to play in the Premiership and if not for Ipswich then I would like to think I would play against them.
"Ipswich are a Premier club in all respects and I know they will be back where they belong soon. I would mark them down for an automatic promotion position next season if things don't work out this time around."
