TWTD understands that Town striker Adam Proudlock has left the club by mutual consent after being told he would not be offered a new deal in the summer. The 24-year-old underwent a knee operation last month and had been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Proudlock joined the Blues in October, initially on loan, after he was sacked for a number of breaches of club discipline at Sheffield Wednesday. In January the former Wolves man was given a contract until the end of June and was challenged to win himself a longer stay at Portman Road.
A persistent knee injury restricted the Wellington-born striker to just three starts and six sub appearances in his brief stint with Town.
