Joe: No Fuller Bid Yet - Ipswich Town News
Boss Joe Royle says he is yet to speak to Southampton regarding the permanent signing of former loanee Ricardo Fuller, but has reiterated that he would like to add the Jamaican to his 2006/07 squad.
Royle says fans are not wrong to expect a move for the Saints striker in the summer: "People are already identifying Ricardo Fuller and I wouldn't argue with that, although I have yet to speak to Southampton about signing him on a permanent basis."
The Town manager would also like to sign loanee Jimmy Juan permanently from Monaco, while Jay McEveley, currently on loan from Blackburn, could be targeted to fill the central defensive vacancy Royle has identified as one of his summer priorities.
