Birmingham Game Moved - Ipswich Town News
Next Wednesday's Worthington Cup semi-final with Birmingham is to be postponed until Tuesday January 30th after police ordered the game to move. This means that Town's game scheduled for January 31st with Aston Villa is to be postponed to a date as yet unknown.
Police have been concerned about the scheduling of two games in Birmingham for a couple of weeks now. Both Villa and Birmingham dug their heels in, however it seems that the pressure has now led Birmingham to back down.
