Bowditch Scores in Defeat - Ipswich Town News
Dean Bowditch scored for Town's reserves but Steve McCall's side fell to a 2-1 defeat against Charlton at Portman Road on Monday night. Bowditch netted on the half hour after good work from Danny Haynes.
The Addicks had gone ahead in the 10th minute via Gonzalo Sorondo. The winner came just before half-time from Alex Varney.
The game drifted after the break with the Town defence shackling the likes of Jay Bothroyd in the Charlton attack.
