Forster Progressing - Ipswich Town News
Striker Nicky Forster is close to a return to reserves action. Forster, 32, underwent his second knee operation of the season earlier in the year.
Physio Dave Williams told the club site: "Fozzie is doing well and training two or three times a week.
"We have to take it slowly with him but I'm hopeful that he will be able to play for the reserves next week."
Forster is likely to be involved when the second string travel to Norwich on Monday.
Jay McEveley, who was expected play for the reserves last Monday but was forced out due to fluid on his knee, will be fit for Saturday's first team match at home to Stoke City.
