Chairman David Sheepshanks has urged fans to renew their season tickets despite Saturday's abject performance against Stoke City. Sheepshanks admitted the display against the Potters was inexcusable but says that earlier matches have suggested the squad is capable of much more.
The Town chairman said: "This was essentially the same team that beat Norwich so splendidly and gave us all such encouragement in January and February. So it is not conjecture but a proven fact that we can play a lot better.
"I'm sure some supporters may be tempted to desert us after Saturday but I hope that most will consider things in the round and still renew their season ticket."
