Reserves Take on Canaries - Ipswich Town News

Town have named a strong line-up for tonight's reserve derby at Norwich's Carrow Road (KO 7.30pm). Nicky Forster returns to match action after his recent cartilage operation, while Lewis Price, Danny Haynes, Jay McEveley and Sito are other first team regulars involved.

McEveley is back after missing Saturday's game with Stoke after suffering from fluid on his knee after the Luton match, his first senior action since medial knee ligament surgery.

Sito will be used in a wide midfield role probably on the left with Jaime Peters on the right, although the pair could swap during the game.

Norwegian Vemund Brekke Skard will be looking to make an impression in the centre of the midfield with first team places up for grabs after Saturday's capitulation against Stoke City.

Released defender Scott Mitchell will be out to impress any watching scouts, while James Krause, set to be offered a professional contract over the next few days, will continue working on his fitness after injury.

The reserves are looking to do the double over their local rivals, having defeated them 3-0 at Portman Road earlier in the season despite not being at their best.

Norwich have also named an experienced line-up including loanee defender Zesh Rehman, Simon Charlton, Ian Henderson and Peter Thorne.

Reserves: Lewis Price, Scott Mitchell, Jay McEveley, Vemund Brekke Skard, James Krause, Chris Casement, Jaime Peters, Liam Trotter, Nicky Forster, Danny Haynes, Sito. Subs: Darryl Knights, Ã"skar Pétursson, Luke Webster, Kieran Leabon, Sammy Moore.
