First Start for Clarke - Ipswich Town News
On-loan striker Billy Clarke made his first start for Colchester as the U's beat Hartlepool 2-0 on Tuesday evening. The Irish youngster played the full 90 minutes and set up the second goal for one-time Town target Neil Danns.
Clarke has previously made three substitute appearances for the Layer Road side he joined towards the end of last month.
The Blues are likely to extend his spell until the end of the season with Dean Bowditch returned from his loan at Wycombe, Danny Haynes in a goalscoring run and Nicky Forster close to a first team return after injury.
