Striker Alan Lee looks likely to be fit for Saturday's home game with Brighton. The former Cardiff City man has been suffering with a groin strain in recent weeks.
Boss Joe Royle said: "Alan trained on Thursday and provided he doesn't suffer any reaction he should be fine."
Brighton's Adam Hinshelwood has failed to recover from his shoulder injury and will be replaced by Guy Butters, while striker Jake Robinson is out for the rest of the season with an ankle ligament problem.
Midfielder Charlie Oatway is a long-term absentee after breaking his ankle at the end of last year.
