Reserves Lose to Foxes - Ipswich Town News

Jordan Rhodes scored his first goal for the reserves - his 35th at all levels this season - as Town's second string lost 5-2 at Leicester this afternoon. Dean Bowditch netted the Blues' other goal.

Schoolboy keeper Andy Plummer was unfortunate to concede five on his reserves debut - four from Foxes striker Chris O'Grady - and wasn't to blame for any of the goals, four of which came before the break.

Leicester keeper Conrad Logan made good saves from Dean Bowditch, Darryl Knights and Scott Mitchell.

Bowditch limped off with 10 minutes remaining, Kieran Leabon replacing him.

Reserves: Plummer, Moore, Mitchell, Krause, Webster, Peters, Upson (Ainsley 46), Trotter, Barron, Knights (Rhodes 75), Bowditch (Leabon 80). Unused: Reason, Boto.
