Grays in Pre-Season - Ipswich Town News
Town will be sending a team to take on Conference side Grays Athletic in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, 25th July at the Essex club's home the Rec. It is likely the Blues will field a reserve side against the current FA Trophy holders.
With two games of 2005/06 still to be played, several of next season's pre-season matches have already been set.
Lazio will be at Portman Road on Friday, 28th July for the first of the two friendlies agreed when Matteo Sereni moved on three years ago, while a reserve side will travel to Cambridge United's Abbey Stadium the following afternoon.
TWTD understands that the pre-season tour will take place in the week of July 10th, although no venues or precise dates have yet been decided.
