Taricco to Return - Ipswich Town News

Mauricio Taricco is keen to return to Portman Road for Richard Naylor's testimonial in September. Earlier this week, TWTD put the testimonial committee in contact with the Argentinian, who now lives in Sardinia.

Naylor celebrates 10 years with the Blues on Saturday, 2nd September with a game against a team based on the promotion side of 2000. Taricco, who played for Town between 1994 and 1998, had left by then but was a hugely popular figure during his time at Portman Road.

Taricco told TWTD regular Simon Fuller, who runs his website, that he would be delighted to be involved and we passed his details on to the committee.

The Argentinian's agent also represents Spanish defenders Jose Carrasco and Daniel Orosco who are currently on trial with the Blues and who played in last night's friendly against Leiston.
