Joe: No More Exits - Ipswich Town News

Boss Joe Royle says that yesterday's transfer-listing of Spanish defender Sito is likely to be the last move aimed at removing players from his squad. The Town manager says the 25-year-old's form has dipped since signing a new contract in January.

Royle said: "He is a smashing lad, and perhaps a summer relaxing might see an improvement.

"But in recent weeks he has been overtaken by a 35-year-old and an 18-year-old for the right-back position. He has not done well since signing his new contract.

"I have had to look at the squad and balance it out. The cull is now over."

Sito - real name Luis Castro RodrÃguez - is contracted with the Blues until June 2008.
