Hermannsson Leaves - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Björn Orri Hermannsson has decided to leave Town and return to Iceland. A clause in the Icelandic U17 international's scholarship terms allowed him to quit at the end of his first season.
Hermannsson has returned to Fylkir, the club he was with prior to joining Town last summer.
Meanwhile, academy full-back or midfielder Sammy Moore was briefly called into the England U18 squad last month. However, the Youth Cup winner was ultimately disappointed after the FA realised he is three days too old to qualify at that level.
