Trio Get Ireland Calls - Ipswich Town News

Shane Supple, Owen Garvan and Billy Clarke are all included in the Republic of Ireland squad for the elite phase of qualifying for the U19 UEFA Championships in Slovakia later this month. Captaining the 18-man party is former Town trialist John-Paul Kelly, now with Eircom League side Bohemians.

Supple and Garvan would win their first caps if they play, having been withdrawn from a number of previous squads, while Clarke has been a regular at this level for the last two years.

The Irish face hosts Slovakia on May 19th, then Turkey on Sunday 21st May and finally Georgia on Tuesday 23rd. The finals take place in Poland from July 18th - 29th.
