Butcher Talks Reported - Ipswich Town News
Former skipper Terry Butcher's agent is reported to have held talks with Town regarding the manager's position. The Motherwell boss is in Australia at present discussing a move to A-League side Sydney FC.
The ex-England captain's agent Graham Rankin is claimed to have spoken with David Sheepshanks regarding Butcher's current situation at Motherwell.
Butcher, who has stated on a number of occasions that he would like to manage the Blues at some point in his career, is not thought to be high on the Town board's wish list.
