Dowie Leaves Palace - Ipswich Town News
Iain Dowie's departure from Crystal Palace has been confirmed. The former Northern Ireland international is the latest name linked with the vacant Town manager's job.
Dowie, who has left Selhurst Park by mutual consent, is also claimed to interest Premiership Charlton, while other reports suggest the 41-year-old is keen to take a job in the north where his family is based.
That could make Preston an attractive proposition should Billy Davies leave Deepdale for Charlton or another destination this summer.
