Lordan Joins Cork - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Cathal Lordan has agreed to join Eircom League side Cork City on a one-year contract. Lordan, scorer of two goals in the first leg of last season's FA Youth Cup final at Southampton, has been released by the Blues.
Lordan spent time on trial with his hometown club last month and also had similar spells at Gillingham, Southend, Bradford and with an unnamed club in Scotland.
The 19-year-old joins up with his older brother Cillian who is a full-back at Turners Cross.
