Milts Thanks Trust - Ipswich Town News

Academy sponsorship manager Simon Milton has thanked Ipswich Town Ist for its contributions to the club's youth set-up during 2005/06. The Trust and its members provided the Academy with more than £20,000.

Milton said in a letter to the Trust: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and Ipswich Town Supporters Trust members for the amazing support for the Academy this season.

"During the early part of this season when we lost our main sponsor, it looked like it was going to be a difficult season here financially. Due to the amount of personal sponsors and companies who saw this as an opportunity to help we have again managed to reach our sponsorship target.

"With personal and company support we have received over £20,000 from the Trust and its members this season. I have to take my hat off to you all for this generous amount and hope that you believe like I do that it is money very well spent.

"I will continue to organise events that I believe are enjoyable and financially viable to maintain the revenue we need. But I am in no doubt that the Trust and its members can feel very proud of what we achieve here as you have certainly played your part."
