Williams Doing Well - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Gavin Williams should be ready to start pre-season training with the rest of the squad after undergoing knee surgery earlier in the year. Williams has been back at Playford Road for the last few weeks working on his fitness ahead of 2006/07.
Fitness coach Simon Thadani told the club site: "Gavin is coming on well and is stepping up his running.
"If that all goes well this week, he will increase his running next week; twisting and turning, that sort of thing, which will test out his knee.
"He will also do some straightforward, basic ball-work. If he comes through that OK, then he should be fine to return to pre-season training with the other lads on June 26th."
