Irish central defender Gerard Nash will spend pre-season with the Blues despite having been released at the end of last season. The youngster is yet to find a new club.
Nash spent time on loan at Hartlepool and Southend during 2005/06. The Dubliner made only one start for Town, his time at Portman Road having been disrupted by a series of injuries.
