Juan in French Talks - Ipswich Town News
Former Town loanee Jimmy Juan is reported to be in talks with three French clubs regarding a permanent move away from Monaco. Ulrich Le Pen's old side Lorient are considered favourites to land the 23-year-old who is also speaking to Valenciennes and Troyes.
The midfielder has a year left of his Monaco contract and is likely to command a fee, something which would probably rule Town out of the running should new manager Jim Magilton want to reverse former boss Joe Royle's decision not to seek to extend Juan's stay at Portman Road.
Elsewhere, Royle is one of a number of names linked with the Plymouth manager's job with Tony Pulis expected to return to Stoke City this week.
Ex-Town striker John Deehan is in contention to be the new boss at Lincoln City. Deehan is currently director of football at Northampton Town where former Blues coach John Gorman recently took over as manager.
Wembley 2000 full-back Gary Croft, now 32, has signed a new one-year deal with Grimsby Town having returned to his hometown club last summer.
