Pre-Season Begins - Ipswich Town News
Town's players officially begin 2006/07 pre-season training today. Many of the squad have already returned to the club to work on their fitness after injury problems.
Fitness coach Simon Thadani's programme will include regular 8am swimming sessions at Fore Street, while the squad will spend time training at Orwell Park School and RAF Wattisham. Runs through Rushmere Heath are also planned.
The Blues' first pre-season friendly is at Boston United on Saturday, 8th July (KO 3pm). A list of Town's other games can be found here.
