Williams Back in Action - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Gavin Williams is back in full training after undergoing knee surgery towards the end of last season. The Wales international joined the Blues for £300,000 from West Ham in January after a loan spell.
Williams told the club site that he is pleased to be getting back to action: "I had to have cartilage surgery in the end and it was a really frustrating finish to the season for me.
"Injuries are the worst thing for any footballer and you miss the banter about the dressing room as well as actually playing and training.
"I've been working through the summer with the physio team and fitness coach Simon Thadani to get back, and joining in with the lads at pre-season was always my target."
