Frenchman on Trial - Ipswich Town News
French central midfielder Alexis Bertin has joined the Blues on trial. The 26-year-old has been released by his hometown club Le Havre and is available on a free transfer.
Bertin has spent all his career with Le Havre having joined their highly regarded youth system as an 11-year-old. He made his first team debut in the 2000/01 season and totals 116 senior appearances and two goals.
The 5ft 8in tall right-footed midfielder has played all his football in the second tier of French football apart from Le Havre's one recent season in Le Championnat, 2002/03.
