Oakley Linked Again - Ipswich Town News
Former Southampton midfielder Matt Oakley is once again reported to be a Town target. The 28-year-old is out of contract and failed to show for pre-season training with the Saints.
The former England U21 international was after at least a two-year deal at Sta Mary's and refused the one year on offer.
Town are claimed to be keen on the Peterborough-born midfielder - as they were back in early May - but Oakley's terms are said to be beyond the club's budget.
