Logan on Loan - Ipswich Town News

Young Town striker Richard Logan has gone on a one month loan to Cambridge United the club has announced today. Logan could form a strike partnership with ex-Town man Jonas Axeldal who is also at the Abbey Stadium these days.

The move is designed to give Logan more League experience. So far he has made three League substitute appearances for Town as well as the recent FA Cup sub run-out at Morecambe. Town rate the striker as a very good prospect for the future and it seems there is no chance of it becoming a permanant deal.

Town's fifteen League goal striker Marcus Stewart could win himself the Golden Boot should he keep his goalscoring antics going for the rest of the season. Currently he finds himself the second top scorer across all the Leagues in Europe.

Ahead of him is Nened Jestrivic who plays for Belgian club Royal Excelsior Mouscron. The Yugoslav striker has scored sixteen goals, but is clearly there for the taking!

Hermann Hreidarsson will be answering questions from fans on the official site (www.itfc.co.uk) this lunchtime (1.15pm). Questions can be mailed to the Iceman at itfcinterview@countyweb.com
