Rangers Pair Linked - Ipswich Town News

Rangers pair Gavin Rae and Nacho Novo are the latest players claimed to be interesting new Town boss Jim Magilton. Neither seems a likely target with their wages well beyond the club's budget.

Elsewhere, former Blues youth coach Terry Westley has been appointed academy director at Birmingham City. Ipswich-born Westley recently left Derby County where he ran their youth set-up before taking over as caretaker-manager for the final few months of last season.

Early nineties Town star Gavin Johnson has joined Conference club Oxford United on a free transfer from Northampton Town.
