Jim Praise for Scorers - Ipswich Town News

Boss Jim Magilton had praise for goalscorers Nicky Forster and Sito after Town's 2-0 win at Galway United. Forster struck after three minutes and Sito on 16.

Magilton told the club site: "Fozzie is looking hungry for goals and very sharp at the moment and I'm delighted with him - and for him.

"He had a difficult time with injuries last year with two operations, but he scored goals at the end of the season and he's made it two in two games in our friendlies so far.

"He has worked really hard during training and is looking eager on the pitch and, most importantly for us, he's scoring goals and that's what his game is all about."

Magilton was impressed with Forster and strike partner Sam Parkin: "They combined well and looked dangerous throughout."

Magilton says that Spanish full-back Sito, who lined-up on the left of the defence at Galway, has also pleased him: "Sito is improving all the time through pre-season with his fitness and performance level and it was great to see him find his way to goal as well.

"He did very well but is suffering with a tight groin at the moment, so we will have to keep an eye on him."
