Lazio Match Still On - Ipswich Town News

Town's friendly with Lazio on Friday, 28th July is not thought to be under threat despite the Rome club's demotion to Serie B due to their involvement in the Italian match-fixing scandal. The game is one of two friendlies agreed as part of the deal which saw Matteo Sereni join Lazio in the summer of 2003.

Sereni, who has made 31 appearances for the Biancocelesti, spent the second part of last season on loan at Treviso but has been included in what must now be seen as a provisional squad for three pre-season games in Austria and the Portman Road fixture.

Lazio pre-season squad: Angelo Peruzzi, Matteo Sereni, Marco Ballotta, Tommaso Berni, Simone Santarelli, Massimo Oddo, Luciano Zauri, Manuel Belleri, Guglielmo Stendardo, Sebastiano Siviglia, Lorenzo De Silvestri, Emilson Cribari, Riccardo Sonetto, Roberto Baronio, Massimo Mutarelli, Alberto Quadri), Christian Ledesma, Christian Keller, Daniele Greco, Stefano Mauri, Valon Behrami, Gaby Mudingayi, Fabio Firmani, Christian Manfredini, Goran Pandev, Tommaso Rocchi, Igli Tare, Guilherme Siqueira, Simone Inzaghi.
