Manu to Become Baggie - Ipswich Town News
It seems all is not done and dusted with Manu Thetis' move to Turkey. The defender, released by Town, is reported to be training with West Bromwich Albion. Reports earlier this month said he was joining Erzurumspor in Turkey, but clearly this by no menas settled.
WBA manager Gary Megson was swift to say that Manu is currently just training with the Baggies, but there does seem a chance that Thetis might join permanently. Megson, scorer of an excellent own goal a few years back, said: "It just gives us a chance to look at him, but also for him to get some fitness."
We've put up a new Town Topic on the website to discuss who Town should go after now that Hassan Kachloul has turned us down. Should we look back to Gert Verheyen or do you have another idea... http://www.twtd.co.uk/towntopics
