Sheringham Joins Palace - Ipswich Town News
Released academy striker Charlie Sheringham has joined Crystal Palace on a two-year contract. The FA Youth Cup-winning squad member, son of former England star Teddy, joined the Eagles on trial at the end of last season after being told he had no future with the Blues.
Palace's director of football Bob Dowie said: "Charlie joined on a week-to-week trial at first but he has impressed us so much we are going to give him a couple of years."
