One Announce Rail Scheme - Ipswich Town News
One Railways have announced a new scheme aimed at season ticket holders with East Anglia's Championship clubs. Fans can save 25% by taking taking the train to league and cup home matches during 2006/07.
For example, a season ticket for Town supporters travelling to Portman Road from Stowmarket costs £60.38 and from Woodbridge £48.30. A children's ticket costs 50% of the adult fare.
Martin Dean, One's sales and marketing director, said: "We believe this innovative new scheme, aimed specifically at local football supporters, is a winner.
"As well as helping to reward loyal customers of One who follow their local teams, we also hope to encourage even more supporters to travel by train and contribute to the football clubs' commitment to develop alternative transport modes to travel to home matches."
