No Sereni - Ipswich Town News

Former Town keeper Matteo Sereni is not included in the Lazio squad for tonight's friendly at Portman Road. The match is one of two arranged as part of the deal which took the former Sampdoria man to Rome in 2003.

Sereni was included in the initial pre-season squad for three matches and a training camp in Austria and the game against the Blues, however, the Italians have sent a reduced party to England, with World Cup stars Angelo Peruzzi and Massimo Oddo also left out, along with former international Simone Inzaghi.

Guest of honour for tonight's game is former Town striker Trevor Whymark, who scored all four goals in a 4-0 UEFA Cup second round, first leg tie at Portman Road in October 1973.

Lazio: Marco Ballotta, Simone Santarelli, Emilson Cribari, Luciano Zauri, Tommaso Rocchi, Riccardo Bonetto, Daniele Greco, Lorenzo De Silvestri, Tommaso Berni, Christian Ledesma, Sebastiano Siviglia, Massimo Mutarelli, Guglielmo Stendardo, Goran Pandev, Christian Manfredini, Manuel Belleri, Roberto Baronio, Alberto Quadri, Stefano Mauri, Igli Tare, Daniele Buelli, Mobido Diakitè.
