Clapham With Blades - Ipswich Town News

Former Blue Jamie Clapham is on trial with Sheffield United. Clapham, linked with a return to Town earlier in the summer, was released by Birmingham at the end of last season.

The 30-year-old, who was previously on trial with Wolves, played in Friday night's 1-1 draw at Rotherham, providing the throw-in which led to the Blades' late equaliser.

Neil Warnock is keen to sign another left-back as cover for ex-Town loanee David Unsworth.

In action for Rotherham was trialist Eugen Bopp who spent time at Portman Road earlier this summer but wasn't offered a deal.
