Pair Miss Training - Ipswich Town News
Strikers Dean Bowditch and Nicky Forster missed Monday training due to injuries but are not considered concerns ahead of Saturday's first game of the season at home to Crystal Palace. Bowditch has shin splints, while Forster has an inflamed knee joint.
Head of sports science Dave Williams told the club site: "Dean's shin splints have not been helped by the hard pitches that we've got at the moment because of the weather.
"He's resting, but should be back in training on Wednesday and it's the same with Fozzie. He's got some slight swelling and we're just being careful. They should both be fine for Saturday."
