No Shane Enquiry - Ipswich Town News

Chief executive Derek Bowden says that the Blues are yet to receive either an enquiry or an offer from Leeds regarding keeper Shane Supple. The Whites are understood to want the Irish youngster as back-up to first choice Neil Sullivan.

Bowden told the club site: "We've had no enquiry from Leeds about Shane, let alone an offer."

Meanwhile, Boss Jim Magilton says that talks continue regarding Leeds left-back Dan Harding's proposed move to Town: "Jamie Clapham [who has joined Wolves] was our first choice and we made him what I considered to be a very, very good offer. Unfortunately he declined it so we move on.

"I would like to sign Dan Harding but Leeds' proposal wasn't acceptable to us.

"I am not prepared to strengthen one area of the team and at the same time weaken another."

Reports last month claimed Leeds were keen to swap Harding for Darren Currie, while their interest in Supple has led to suggestions that a deal involving the Irishman and the ÂŁ400,000-rated former England U21 international may be on the table.
