Jim Set for Triple Swoop - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton is reported to be about to start his career as a transfer wheeler-dealer by signing three players. Contrary to reports earlier today, one of those players is expected to be Leeds left-back Dan Harding.
The identity of the other two players is not known, although previously Town have signalled that they are looking to make two permanent signings and one season-long loan.
Magilton confirmed yesterday that talks regarding former Brighton and England U21 man Harding were ongoing with the 22-year-old, who has one year left on his deal at Elland Road, likely to command a fee around the £400,000 mark.
Earlier in the week, chief executive Derek Bowden indicated that Town had not yet given up on their attempts to sign Manchester United's Paul McShane.
