Ainsley and England Lose - Ipswich Town News
Academy schoolboy Jack Ainsley won his fourth cap as the England U17s lost the final of the Nordic Tournament 4-0 to Denmark in the Faroe Islands. Ainsley scored three times in the qualifying group matches.
New academy recruit Viktor Unnar Illugason scored for Iceland's U17s as they won their fifth place play-off 2-1 against the Faroese U19 side.
Meanwhile, at the Northern Ireland Milk Cup tournament, Town's U15s finished sixth in the Junior competition after losing 4-2 to Maccabi Haifa in their play-off match on Friday.
In the Elite section, The Northern Irish U19s, including Town's Chris Casement, finished third after defeating Denmark 3-2.
