'Where's the money gone' chant at a game?

I haven't heard this for a long while now and thought it would have been appropriate over the last few years?!

Or is it not a trendy chant any more as it isn't swearing at or about someone??

We wasted it on Malarkzyk, Oar, Coke, Toure, Knudsen etc etc

Then what was left we have long contracts & pay rises who had previously not been good enough to get us up & every single one of those players is now playing a lot worse than what they did pre long contract.

Not sure that is appropriate to be honest when Evans is plugging the shortfall in our finances most of the time. Perhaps a chant of 'stop treating us like idiots you utter bunch of bellends' might be more appropriate.

That's the bare minimum though. It's like saying "Well I'm paying the mortgage" when you need to buy a new sofa, fridge, etc.

Yea but you wouldn't buy a sofa and not pay the mortgage. So asking where the money has gone is a bit daft. It paid the mortgage. What we should be asking is why we've been going round saying we're going to buy a sofa all month and 24 hours before the DFS sale ends we're still offering £400 for a sofa worth £1000.

But we can do both, clearly. We're just choosing not to.

And yes, it has got to the realm of the absurd. The line at the end of July was 'O well, we'll do our business in January' and it didn't take long before the "Gonna be difficult to do business in January line" was trotted out. And January has been a month long whinge about how inflated prices are.

Mate, the DFS sale never ends.
