Was on the radio yesterday reminiscing about his playing days.
Mainly about WHUFC, but a story cropped up during his time at ITFC, when his next door neighbours were having a bit of a party + BBQ....for some reason Paul was unable to join them in the celebrations, so a few guests that recognised him were 'feeeding him' a substantial amount of bottles of beer over the garden wall/fence.

Does that story ring a bell with any of you TWTD faithful?

Haha. Well he did live next door to a rather accomplished lager drinker who played for Town and shares his name with an Ipswich estate....

I don't recall there being an estate called the Bullard Estate in Ipswich.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Now surely we haven't forgotten one of our few prayers with a double-barrelled name, Simon Priory-Heath? Came on for Steve Palmer during a dour draw against Charlton. At fault for goal, Linighan decked him. Never saw him again.
