Didn't watch it but it is no surprise to me that they won.
If Ranieri was still there I think it very unlikely that they would have won and very likely that they would be relegated.

I don't know what went wrong there but something obviously has.
Like about 50% of the PL their aim is to stay there-I think Ranieri said at the start of this season their target was 40 points-they overachieved beyond anybody's wildest dreams last season and this season are back to reality.
As I have said,they have quite possibly preserved their PL status by sacking him because(whatever the reasons behind it)if he had stayed they were looking almost certainties to go down. | | | |
