It's been really enjoyable and I agree, we'd really struggle with 188 in a 4th innings. Smith looks in great nick but Kohli scored more runs in most innings against us than he looks like getting in the entire series here!

Their spinners look useful too - I remember when the comparison between Lyon and Swann was laughable but they look stronger than us there. Warner and Smith are class and Renshaw seems a steadying influence at the top of the order.
It was a terrible decision not to review.

Lyon isn't a particularly good spinner but does seem to know his game, the contrast with England's spinners this last series was more the one or two loose balls an over that released any pressure.
The three completed innings have all ended very quickly, with Smith out now this is going to be close. I reckon India to win it unless the next two wickets get most of the way there.

Another note of interest, Mason Crane the very young leggie from Hampshire became the first foreign player to play Sheffield Shield since Imran Khan when he made his debut for NSW today. Quite an achievement, they must rate him very highly to give a Pom a game! [Post edited 7 Mar 2017 8:22]
