He has proven himself to be an utter bell.....but even broken by a career of injuries from not looking after himself he was (during that loan spell) still arguably the best player we have seen in a town shirt in the past decade. He won an England call up in his time and it was not undeserved.

Don't think he was capped in the end? He received a call up I think but never played.

He was a very good player at his peak.
