An MTFC fan here watching the progress of one of our former stars, just wandering what you thought of him? Watching the game on Sunday I thought he looked your only threat but I am just informing you......a defender he is not! what I can say after 2 years of watching him game in game out, you have a star, he ain't a kid and he'll get you on your feet because he goes at people and defenders will never get he comes inside when played wide right, a bit odd I know but play him elsewhere and forget it. I'm with you on that regarding Sunday...he was the only positive from the game. Loved his energy and willingness to run at defenders and take them on. Not sure why Mick swapped him from right to left in second half on Sunday, especially when he put a RB on to play LB. Fingers crossed we see more of him next season  |  |

Mick's pre-match team talk on Sunday saw us start the game like rabbits caught in headlights. Once our players forgot what he told them and played their own natural game, we got back into them and were in the ascendancy before conceding a soft goal. Mick's half time talk, substitutions and positional changes saw to it that we were back to the same old dross. Players either did not have a clue as to what they were supposed to be doing or were just not interested.
